What's new in Voicera.
Voicera updates itself: it checks once a day and installs the new version the next time you quit it. To check now, choose Check for Updates in the menu bar menu.
1.0.2
LatestFixes
- If Voicera can't find a text field, your words now appear in a card you can copy, instead of being lost.
- Continue with Apple or Google always signs you in with the account you choose, even when the website is signed in to another one.
- If Voicera no longer has microphone or Accessibility access, setup opens again to help you turn it back on.
- Quit works again while Settings is open.
Also new
- Signing out takes you straight to the sign in screen.
- A bigger button beside highlighted text.
- Settings shows the version plainly, with a link to the changelog.
1.0.1
Faster dictation
- Your words now reach Voicera while you speak, so the text appears sooner after you stop.
- A dictation ends the moment you press the key again, not when you let go of it.
- The Exactly as spoken style skips the cleanup step, so it is quicker still.
- After a paste, your clipboard comes back in the background, so you can start the next dictation right away.
- Home and History load faster.
Also new
- A new Dictation page: your own vocabulary, a writing style, and the languages you speak.
- A refreshed dark appearance.
